MouseIGFBP-3CDNAencodesa291aminoacid(aa)residueprecursorproteinwithaputative27aaresiduesignalpeptidethatisprocessedtogeneratethe264aaresiduematureproteinwiththreepotentialN-linkedglycosylationsites.MouseandhumanIGFBP-3share81%aminoacidhomology.MouseIGFBP-3isexpressedinmultipletissues(Schuller,A.G.P.etal.,1994,Mol.Cell.Endoc.104:57-66).
