Cardiotrophin-1increasedventricularexpressionofANP,brainnatriureticpeptide(BNP)andangiotensinogenmRNA.
Cardiophin1levelsweresignificantlyelevatedinpatientswithheartfailure,patientswithdilatativecardiomyopathy,moderate/severemitralregurgitation,stableandunstableanginaandafteracutemyocardialinfarction.
